Buena Vista
Buena Vista, also known as BV or "Bueni," is located along the Arkansas River in the heart of the Colorado Rockies at an altitude of about 8,000 feet. It is just east of the continental divide and has spectacular views of several 14,000 ft peaks. There is no scheduled airline service within 100 miles of town. If you are flying, Denver or Colorado Springs has the closest major airports. From there you will need to rent a car and drive to Buena Vista. There is some shuttle service from the Denver airport. The drive from any direction to Buena Vista is beautiful and very likely an integral part of your CPTR experience.

The Community Center is at 715 E. Main St. However, the entrance is on S. Main St. The red marker on the map below shows the intersection of E. Main St. and S. Main St. The Community Center entrance is just south of the red marker on S. Main St.

Buena Vista has several lodging options including: motels, lodges, bed and breakfasts, and camping. This area is a great vacation destination. There are many fantastic activities near town and throughout Chaffee County.
