Buena Vista or BV is located in the heart of the Colorado Rockies at an altitude of 8,000 ft. As the map indicates we are about 100 mi from anywhere. If you are planning on flying into Buena Vista you will need your own aircraft or have access to one. There is no scheduled airline service within 100 miles of Town. Otherwise, since the buses doesn't come to Town and train service ended years ago, your best bet is a car. From any direction, the dirve is lovely and very likely an integral part of your CPTR experience.
